So, recently I found/got a ton of pictures from my first 4-5 Hollands. I wanted to show them to you guys, so ya'll can cringe with me.. What better way to start then with my very first Holland? This was my first doe, Fern. She was a huge false dwarf, and though thinking back she may have had good points as a BUD, I will never know because I knew nothing about posing so don't really have much to evaluate off of, though, she was cute/ugly :P Anddd my first buck. This is Vern, he came with Fern. They were only $20 for a PAIR. No pedigrees, but I sure did think it was a real steal. Because since Vern had been shown before in a fair show he must be a good rabbit. wrong. Though he may have been nice, he was small and like I said I have no posing to go off of. Please please PLEASE ignore the caging. I was an idiot. XD My first decent quality Holland, this was BPR'S Dragon Fly. She came from ANR and Pine Grove lines. Cute doe, got her for $15. Full pedigree. She was actually kinda showy almost, not a bad doe, I was just a really bad poser. Wish I still had this girl. She produced Duke, turned out to be a chocolate carrier. This was Oak Ridge's Dana, she was one of my favorite does and had my first litter. She was quite a cutie, and she actually was nice. The left picture is mine, the right picture is the breeders or the person who sold me her, what I'm trying to say, is credit is not to me. But I had to show her off as she was because she was actually nice. Another doe I wish I still had. She came with Dragon Fly, $15. <3 First doe for my chocolate program. A REALLY UGLY broken black otter, who couldn't even sit up. Her name was Jasmine and my sister loved her. The mistakes I made..Some big brood does are good, she wasn't, lol. First buck for my chocolate program. Gosh he was ugly. I didn't use him (Mr S'more), thankfully. He went to a pet home where he's loved. So that's all I have to show you today, it's a throwback alright. And a very cringey one. I'm so sorry to anyone who tried to help me and I was convinced I was doing the right thing (especially with that choc buck).
THANK YOU to those who didn't give up on me and helped me. I would not be where I am today without you, you know who you are. Hope you enjoyed cringing "with" me XD |
